DMV Appointments in Pennsylvania
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) now allows you to schedule certain appointments ahead of time, so you won't have to spend all day at your local PennDOT office waiting for your number to be called. Types of Pennsylvania DOT Appointments
You can schedule the following testing appointments with PennDOT ahead of time:
- Road skills exam for:
- Standard driver license.
- Motorcycle license.
- Commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Written special points test.
How to Make a PennDOT Appointment
You can schedule all the appointment types listed above using PennDOT's convenient Online Driver's Test Scheduling system. You'll need to provide the following pieces of information to get started:
- PA driver's license number.
- Date of birth.
- Social Security number OR Alien Number OR I-94 Number.
You can use this same online service to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
