This fully narrated supplemental drivers ed program will help will provide first-time drivers a comprehensive understanding of rules of the road, state laws, driving techniques and much more. Although this course does not satisfy your West Virginia drivers education requirements, this course is a great way for a first-time driver to get prepared for their upcoming learner's permit test.
This course includes six hours of full driver ed training giving the student a full multimedia learning experience. The student will have access to eight of the premier driver education videos and, finally, the student will test his or her knowledge with three permit practice tests. Once completed, the student will be ready to pass his or her test with flying colors.

The West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles offers many free handbooks and manuals containing information you'll need for obtaining a license, rules and regulations, and more.
All manuals and handbooks are available at your local DMV office. Even better news―most of them are available for download using the free Adobe Reader.
Driver Licensing Handbook
The West Virginia DMV Driver Licensing Handbook provides information on just about any topic a motorist could possibly need. From licensing and exam information to responsibilites and driving under the influence, the handbook is a definite must-have for all drivers. The handbook is also available in Spanish.
Commercial Driver's License Manual
The Commercial Driver's License Manual includes CDL information, licensing procedures and requirements, an overview of traffic laws, third-party descriptions and contact information, and other important addresses and telephone numbers.
Motorcycle Operator Manual
The Motorcycle Operator Manual includes a wealth of important information about the motorcycle itself (including mechanical issues), driving (including tips, techniques, and laws), the physical condition of the rider (including fatigue and alcohol or drug influence), and the knowledge and skills tests required to obtain a motorcycle license or endorsement.
The manual also offers information about the West Virginia Motorcycle Safety Program Rider Education classes, the various courses offered by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, and contact information for both organizations.
Driver's Privacy Protection Act Opt-In Brochure
The West Virginia DMV Information Services Staff and the West Virginia DMV General Counsel have prepared an opt-in brochure to inform drivers of the Driver's Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) and give them the opportunity to allow prohibited users access to personal information for the purpose of marketing, surveys, or solicitation. Although the brochure isn't technically a manual, it does provide important information that all drivers should read.
