Traffic Schools

WASHINGTON TRAFFIC SCHOOL ONLINE SPONSOR
The successful completion of a course from one of the approved Washington traffic schools may prevent violations from damaging your driving record. While in many cases a course just might get a traffic ticket dismissed, attending traffic school can also enhance your driving knowledge and skill level, and it may increase your overall safety awareness so that you, your family, and other drivers can be safer on the roads.

Washington Traffic School >>

Washington's Department of Licensing (DOL) does not sponsor a statewide traffic school program. Classes are instead offered by the court, according to the court's discretion. Look on your ticket for the court's number, and call to ask if it offers a traffic school (some courts may refer to the class under a different name, such as defensive driving). If yes, you can push your luck and inquire if enrollment will help in dismissing your ticket.

If a traffic school is offered, also make sure to contact your insurance carrier. Enrollment in the class could keep your insurance premiums manageable.

Classes cost from about $60 on up, and last about three and a half hours.
