• You must have 20/40 vision or better in both eyes with or without corrective lenses.

• Your horizontal field of vision must be at least 110 degrees in both eyes, or 55 in one eye.

There are no restrictions for hearing impaired drivers.

If you've had a seizure within six months of applying for a driver license, the Department of Licensing (DOL) may require a medical examination.

There currently are no age-based license renewal restrictions.

Top Testing Accommodations for Drivers With Disabilities

• Service animals are allowed in the car during road tests.

• Interpreters for hearing impaired drivers are allowed in the car during the road test. Foreign language interpreters, however, are not allowed.
