Services Covered by the Utah DLD Appointment System
Appointments for the following services may be scheduled online:
- Apply for a first-time Utah driver's license.
- Renew a driver's license.
- Apply for a learner permit.
- Change the name on a driver's license.
- Get a duplicate Utah driver's license.
Schedule a Road Test or CDL Test
The online scheduling system does not include commercial driver license (CDL) tests or driver road tests. You must contact your local DLD office to schedule either of these appointments or contact a third-party CDL tester.
Wait Times
The busiest DLD offices post updated wait-time information every one to two hours daily. Save some time by checking ahead from your phone or home computer.
