Defensive Driving Course
South Dakota's National Safety Council sponsors a state-sanctioned traffic school called the Defensive Driving Course (DDC).
Participating in this course will not deduct points from your driving record, but it may reduce car insurance premiums.
For ticket dismissal information, contact your district court. For reduced insurance premiums, contact your insurance carrier.
This one-day class generally lasts eight hours and costs $85.
