Medical Considerations

Sight
For an unrestricted license, you must have 20/40 vision or better in both eyes, with or without correction.
Hearing
There are no driving restrictions for deaf or hearing impaired drivers.
Seizures
You must be seizure-free for 12 months in order to drive.
However, if you submit in writing to the Motor Vehicles Division (MVD) that medication has your condition under control and that you're under the care of a doctor, you may be issued a temporary permit. This permit will be reviewed every six months, or until you've gone seizure-free for 12 months.
Aging Drivers
No driving restrictions exist.
