Whatever the reason, you may be in luck. South Dakota makes many forms available for you online, so you can stay home and print away.

The forms are divided into four categories. Here are some of what you'll find within each category.

• Driver Licensing―Driver record request, driver application, medical statement, vision statement, restricted work permit, duplicate license request, clearance request

• Motor Vehicle―Application for title and registration, application for physically disabled parking permit and license, personalized license plate application, affidavit for rebuilt motor vehicle, bill of sale, power of attorney

• Motor Fuel Forms ― Fuel tax refund claim, uniform schedule of receipts, highway contractor tax return, terminal operator report, motor fuel tax license application

• International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA)―IFTA tax returns, licensing weight form, international registration plan application, estimated mileage statement, motor vehicle identification report, safety certification for application, individual vehicle mileage and fuel report

Some of the forms in the last three categories may be completed and submitted online.
