Replacing a Lost Registration in Oklahoma

You can replace your lost registration papers in Oklahoma in person or by mail through your local tag office.
If you're applying by mail, you'll need to write a letter providing all the vehicle information―current tag number, Vehicle Identification Number, and a copy of the title, if available.
The fee for applying by mail is $4.56, payable with check or money order. It takes two to three weeks for the paperwork to be processed and your registration mailed back to you.
If applying in person, you'll still need to provide all the above listed information, but you'll only pay $3.56, and you'll receive the duplicate instantly.
Lost Tags or Decals
If your license plate is lost or stolen, you'll need to complete an Affidavit for Replacement License Plate/Decals and submit either in person or by mail through your local tag office.
The fee for a replacement tag is $10.50.
