Will I get a reminder notice to renew my tag?
Maybe. The state mails them out, but if you don't receive one you are still required to renew on time. You don't need the renewal notice to renew; just visit your local tag office with your current papers and the appropriate fees and your renewal will be processed.
Do I have to get an emissions test on my car before I can register it?
Emissions testing is not required in Oklahoma. At times, your vehicle may need to be inspected for an odometer reading, but this is not a requirement each time.
How much will I pay to register my new car in Oklahoma?

If I move out of state, do I need to surrender my license plates?
No. Recycle them as you see fit in your new state.
