In recent years, lines at the Motor Vehicle Division have shortened thanks to the efforts of state government streamlining its processes. Today, you can often skip the trip, download publications and forms, and sometimes conduct transactions online.
Here, you’ll find everything from New Mexico forms and handbooks to driving manuals and vehicle code details. These resources provide advice about handling driving conditions, tell you how to get a license and register your vehicle, and even provide practice tests. And best of all, they're free to download any time you need them.
