Top Driver's Manual
The official Driver's Manual, or driver handbook, published by the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) includes current information developed over years of manual use.
The Driver's Manual is a valuable tool for all drivers, and you'll find it helpful whether you're just learning to drive or have several years of experience behind you. And since driving is such an important privilege, you may even want to seek other publications to enrich your studies.
The Driver's Manual, available in English only, can be obtained online using the free Adobe Reader. The manual is broken into 20 sections for a total of 135 pages, covering everything from licensing to registration to safe vehicle operation.
The layout and language of the manual is easy-to-understand, and as always New Hampshire's firm belief of the importance of driving safely and respecting the law is conveyed. The manual covers rules and regulations as well as the benefits of driving defensively.
Top Drivers Education
If you are under 18 and required to take an approved Driver Education Program you will spend quite a bit of time studying the Driver's Manual. Your instructor will probably also teach from a supplemental handbook or workbook to offer you extra training on driving topics.
An important component of the Driver's Manual is the practice test. Before you sit for the written knowledge exam at a DMV substation, give yourself the practice test and shoot for a score above 85%.
As an education tool, the manual is comprehensive and informative. If you consider it an important part of your Driver Education, you will be better prepared for your written knowledge and road skills tests.
