Motorcycle Manual in North Dakota

The pursuit of a North Dakota motorcycle license is made easy by a 52-page Motorcycle Operator Manual authored by the North Dakota Division of Transportation (NDDOT). You will need the free Adobe Reader to download and read PDF files.
If you're computer-shy you can collect a manual at any statewide Motor Vehicle location.
The manual serves as the perfect primer for the motorcycle exam, which you will need to pass before you can obtain a Class M license. In it, you'll find a collection of two-wheel topics including eye protection, proper posture, lane changing, passing parked cars, braking, turning, and riding at night.
If you don't yet have your Class D operator's license, you will still be required to pass the exam for it to get a motorcycle license. Therefore, you may also be interested in the Rules of the Road manual. The state also offers a Commercial Driver's License Guide.
