The Mississippi Department of Public Safety (DPS) oversees the issuance of all driver licenses and state identification cards. These matters are handled at Highway Patrol district offices located throughout Mississippi.

Meanwhile, the Mississippi State Tax Commission tackles motor vehicle titling and registration through county tax collector's offices scattered throughout the state.

Appointments

Appointments aren't available for non-commercial driving tests.

Schedule an appointment for CDL road testing either online or by calling a driver's license location that offers the testing at least 48 hours in advance.
