Employment opportunities with the Mississippi Department of Public Safety span a number of branches throughout the state. Your best bet is to read up on the ones that interest you most using the Department's site map. Along with a wealth of information, you'll find the following employment details:
- The Mississippi Law Enforcement Officer's Training Academy (MLEOTA). Here, you'll find the physical fitness requirements necessary for an entry-level position, the training calendar which shows course listings, and a comprehensive listing of all courses.
