DMV Employment
Employment with the State of Minnesota, including Minnesota's Office of Traffic Safety and Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS), is handled through the state's Department of Employee Relations.
Working with the state's DVS at its locations throughout the state may not sound like the most exciting job in the world, but this work, which is important for the drivers and registered vehicles of the state, also contributes to the safety of all motorists.
The Department of Employee Relations in Minnesota provides the following services for job seekers with its online employment site:
- Job search
- Resume creation
- Resume updating
- A resume builder
The department is the proper place to seek employment at Minnesota DVS, which handles driver's licenses and identification (ID), vehicle registration, and related matters.
Once job applicants fill out a resume on the My State Job Search section of the Department of Employee Relations Web site, they may update and edit the information with the ID and password they created.
Resumes filled out online with the Department of Employee Relations remain active for up to one year from the last update, or until employment with the state.
