Commercial Drivers
Commercial drivers employed in the transportation industry keep the wheels of commerce turning across Michigan. It is the Michigan DMV that issues commercial driver's licenses (CDL) in Michigan.
The renewal of CDLs is also uder the jurisdiction of the DMV. And, if you ever lose your Michigan CDL or have it stolen, you can order a replacement through the DMV.
In addition to the issuance of commercial driver's licenses, the Michigan DMV also takes on the responsibility setting the educational requirements for those who drive commercial vehicles in Michigan.
