Traffic Schools

MAINE TRAFFIC SCHOOL ONLINE SPONSOR
The successful completion of a course from one of the approved Maine traffic schools may prevent violations from damaging your driving record. While in many cases a course just might get a traffic ticket dismissed, attending traffic school can also enhance your driving knowledge and skill level, and it may increase your overall safety awareness so that you, your family, and other drivers can be safer on the roads.

Maine Traffic School >>

Maine's Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV), in conjunction with the Bureau of Highway Safety, offers a traffic school under the name of Dynamics Driving Course.

Unfortunately, however, it is not open to the general public. Only employees or organizations insured by or through Maine's Risk Management Division are eligible.

Course Specifics

Defensive driving is the chief focus, touching on a variety of topics including collision avoidance techniques, driver habits and attitudes, and sharing the road with trucks. This free, five-and-a-half hour classroom course mixes videos with lecture and discussion.

Course Benefits

Participating in this course will trim three points off of your driving record.

The course will not, however, negate traffic tickets or reduce insurance costs.

Course Schedule

Classes are generally limited to once or twice a month throughout the state. To find out the class schedule call (800) 525-1252.
