Point Reduction in Massachusetts
Massachusetts Point Reduction

Completing a Driver Retaining course does not remove surchargeable events from your MA driving record.
Maintaining a clean driving record is the only way surchargeable events can be erased. If you have no more than three surchargeable events on your record over the past five years, one point will be removed for each citation, for every three years of safe driving.
