Top Appointments
For road test appointments, call the automated system at (866) 627-7768, or talk to a RMV customer service representative. Commercial drivers must call the customer service center to set up a CDL road test.
To book a motorcycle test (Class M) call (617) 351-4500 if your area code is 339, 617, 781 or 857. Or dial (800) 858-3926 if your area code is 351, 413, 508, 774 or 978.
In addition, some inspection stations offer appointments for the state's mandatory annual vehicle inspection. To find an inspection station, call (877) 387-8234.

Many RMV offices recetnly experienced a shortening of hours. Most of the branches will open a half hour later, 9:00 a.m. instead of 8:30 a.m. In addition, the 18 branches that were open until 7 p.m. will now be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Call your local office for hours of operation.Choose a County
