DMV Employment

Jobs at the Registry of Motor Vehicles are treated like any other state job openings and are advertised online with the state Human Resources Division Commonwealth Employment Opportunities page. This page lists all available state jobs, sortable by agency, type of job, title, location and region.
The page does not include integrated online application, however. Most jobs listed require a resume and cover letter to be sent to the agency doing the hiring and/or the state HR office.
Working for the Commonwealth
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. Veterans, minorities, women, and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply. State employees get paid bi-weekly basis and must have direct deposit.
How to Apply for State Jobs
Each job posting will include instructions on how to apply and where to get an application if required. Most positions will ask for a resume and cover letter. If you are applying for more than one position, be sure to submit a separate cover letter and resume (or application) for each position.
The Human Resources Division Commonwealth Employment Opportunities page is continuously updated, so check back frequently as you progress through your job search.
