Traffic Schools in Indiana
If you have received a traffic ticket in Indiana, then a Indiana State Approved Traffic School is a great way to dismiss your traffic ticket and lose the points from your driving records. I Drive Safely is a good choice for Indiana traffic school online.
The successful completion of a course from one of the approved traffic schools may prevent violations from damaging your driving record. While in many cases a course just might get a traffic ticket dismissed, attending traffic school can also enhance your driving knowledge and skill level, and it may increase your overall safety awareness so that you, your family, and other drivers can be safer on the roads.

Indiana BMV Driver Safety Program
The Indiana BMV Driver Safety Program is designed to educate participants on how to become better defensive drivers.
Program Enrollment
While you may take the class voluntarily, it's also for those drivers who have been ordered to attend the class by a court ruling, and those who have been found guilty of two traffic convictions within a 12-month time frame.
If you're required to take the class, you must do so within 90 days of your notice. Be aware it can take between seven and 10 days to have your course completion results processed by the BMV.
Drivers volunteering to take the class should contact the provider directly to enroll. Drivers required by the court to attend should receive information from the court on how to enroll. (However, you may only be eligible to take the classroom instruction.)
Drivers forced to take the class due to multiple infractions will be given enrollment information by the BMV.
Program Cost and Methods
The course costs a maximum $55, payable to the provider, and is available through three BMV-approved options: classroom instruction, home study through a DVD/video recording, and home study online. Some offer the class in Spanish.
Point Credits
By successfully completing the course through a state-approved provider, you'll receive a four-point credit on your driving record. However, it won't remove any points off your license. You may receive the credit once every three years.
Auto Insurance Discounts
Check with your insurance company to see if they offer a discount for those who take the driver safety program.
