Appointments

Drivers interested in taking their CDL road test may schedule an appointment by calling (630) 293-1191 to take the test at either the South Holland, Elk Grove, or West Chicago facilities. Call (217) 785-3013 to make an appointment with any other CDL testing facility.

Appointments are not given for non-commercial road tests.

If your custom vehicle needs an inspection, the Secretary of State Police Department will contact you to make an appointment for the procedure.

To get your salvage vehicle inspected, you must set an appointment with one of the four inspection stations offering this service.

For an appointment at a child passenger safety seat fitting station, call (866) 247-0213. The locations are only open on Mondays.
