    Top Office Locations

While the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (HSMV) agency oversees all driving-related matters, the individual tasks are handled at different agencies at various locations.

License and States IDs, Testing, Renewals

The Division of Driver Licenses handles driver licensing, testing, and renewals, as well as state identification cards, at its driver license offices. You may also sign up to be an organ donor or a registered voter at these locations. Be sure to check out the driver license mobile unit schedule, too. Be aware of holiday closings that affect all driver license offices.

    Registration, Titling, License Plates

Motor vehicle services involving registration, titling, VIN verification, and license plates are handled by the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) through county tax collector's offices.

    Top Other Locations

For dealer licenses, complaints and investigations, as well as rebuilt vehicle inspections, you'll need to visit a DMV District Office.

Hardship licenses cases are handled through Administrative Review offices.
