Appointments

Set an appointment for driving tests by completing a driver exam appointment application. Then mail the card to the DMV or take it to a DMV office, and the state will assign you an appointment.

To make a CDL road test appointment, call the DMV telephone center at (860) 263-5700 (Hartford area or outside CT only), or (800) 842-8222 (for the rest of CT).

If you need an emissions inspection for your vehicle, contact a testing center and make an appointment.

Need to have another type of inspection completed? The DMV offers appointments for many other sorts of inspections. Just check the page for instructions on how to set an appointment for the inspection you require.
