Medical Conditions

Seizures
If you harbor a history of seizures, you must submit a Confidential Medical Report before you can apply for a driver's license.
Sight
Colorado's minimum vision standard is 20/40. If your vision falls below this mark, you will be referred to a specialist for recommendations. If you take corrective measures, you can then reapply, but only after you submit a Confidential Medical Report.
Hearing
Colorado does not impose any restrictions on deaf drivers.
Aging Driver Restrictions
Once you hit 61, you must renew your license every five years rather than the customary 10. Plus, you no longer have the options to renew by mail or online. Instead you must renew in person.
Reporting an Incompetent Driver
If you suspect a person that you know is either too old or not medically fit to be driving a vehicle, try to contact the driver's family members. If you don't know the driver, contact the local police department with a description of the car and the license plate number. Don't let guilt prevent you from calling.
Testing Sites
