RV & Motorhome Registration in Arizona

So you've packed up the motor home with supplies, strapped in the family, and anchored your trusty road atlas at your side. But before you start your road trip, make sure to stop at the Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) to take care of the title and registration.
Motor homes and RVs need to be registered and titled just like other passenger vehicles―and they have to be inspected, too. The title fee for a motor home is $7, and the registration fee will follow the same guidelines as those for personal automobiles.
Unfortunately, not every MVD or third-party office will be able to inspect your motor home to make sure it is safe for the open road. You will need to call the MVD Customer Service Call Center at (602) 255-0072 (Phoenix), (520) 629-9808 (Tucson), or (800) 251-5866 (rest of Arizona) to find a location that does inspections. Most inspections carry a fee of $50.
You can prepare for your day at the MVD by filling out the registration and title application and request for inspection ahead of time.
