DMV Employment
As part of its goal to streamline governmental services and make them as easy to access as possible, the state of Arizona has situated its job listings on a single, official Web site. The Arizona Human Resources Web site allows you to not only search for jobs with the MVD, but also research training and education programs, unemployment insurance, and volunteer opportunities.
The site allows you to create an account that saves your resume, cover letter, and job preferences, so you can utilize it to search for new jobs each day with minimal effort. You can also track the status of your applications and receive e-mail notifications when jobs that fit your search criteria become available.
Once you register on the site, you can find your ideal job by limiting listings according to job type, which includes categories like vehicle inspection and wildlife service; job title, which provides an overview of the organizational structure of the state agency offices; and region and city.
Further, the Web site highlights new jobs on an easy-to-access featured page each day, thus essentially doing your work search for you. The jobs often include positions in the MVD but run the gamut from administrative positions in the business sector to research positions in mathematics.
You can also visit the Arizona Workforce Connection, which allows you to enter the key words "Motor Vehicle Division" or "Department of Transportation" to target your search to the state's motor vehicle support services.
The Arizona Workforce Connection is a private organization dedicated to helping people in the state of Arizona find jobs. It is a one-stop answer board for questions regarding finances, veteran benefits, community assistance services, resume building and, of course, finding a job.
